TOMMY HELERINGER is an actor and writer driven to tell stories that remind the world of its limitless potential. As an actor, he has worked at Williamstown, Studio Theatre in DC, and Actors Theatre of Louisville, among others, as well as with New York companies like KEEN, The Lark, EST, Fresh Ground Pepper, The Amoralists, Ma-Yi, Ars Nova, and The Culture Project. Tommy's pilot, Developmental, was nominated for Best Comedy at Catalyst, and was subsequently made into a short film now in post-production. His adult-animated comedy series, Pig & Bear, was a Finalist at ScreenCraft's Pitch Week Spring 2023 and a quarterfinalist in Emerging Screenwriters Comedy. His commissioned play, Thank You for Holding, a Finalist for the Edith Wharton-Straw Dog Writers Residency, was later developed through an opportunity with The Playwright’s Realm. Tommy is a member of Morgan Gould & Friends and holds a BA in Theatre from Fordham University at Lincoln Center. He lives in Brooklyn with his partner, one ghost, and not a small number of mice.
